Questions

Coffee van hire FAQs

How much does it cost to hire a coffee van?

It depends on the unit, how many guests you are expecting and how long you want us serving. Send us your details on the quote form and we will come back with a price.

Are your coffee vans actually vans?

Our coffee units are towed trailers, a converted horsebox and a timber counter bar, not vans. They do the same job, with more counter space and a proper café fit-out inside.

What coffee do you serve?

Specialty coffee from trained baristas, pulled on commercial espresso machines with Roasted Brown coffee and hand-poured with Killadoon Milk from Co. Kildare. Americano, latte, cappuccino, flat white, espresso, mocha, hot chocolate, tea, and matcha on selected units, hot or iced, with milk alternatives on every unit.

Can you serve food as well as coffee?

Yes. Pastries and toasties on every coffee unit, smoothies and açaí bowls on Scúp, the Horsebox and the Coffee Bar, and Scúp Irish gelato from the Scúp trailer.

Can the coffee bar go indoors?

Yes. The Coffee Bar is a 2.3 m timber counter that runs on a standard 13 A socket, so it works in offices, hotels and marquees.

How many coffees can you serve?

Scúp and Roasted Brown serve up to 1,000 covers a day each, the Horsebox up to 600 and the Coffee Bar up to 500.

What power do you need?

Scúp and the Horsebox need a 32 A single-phase supply. The Coffee Bar and Roasted Brown run on 32 A single phase or a standard 13 A socket.
